Finally in!!!!

We have been in the house for a little over a week. It still looks like a yard sale blew up in places but the clutter is diminishing. The countdown has started

The mantel is finally finished and the tv installed – and that is a big tv! It’s a 52 inch Samsung… I feel like I’m at the movie theater!
The electrical inspection is passed. The plumbing inspection is passed. We just have the building inspector to get our occupancy permit and we can move in! (yay!!!)

The mantel is stained, the tile in the master shower is almost done and the grass seeding is well underway. We have to touch up the paint and get our final inspections completed… are we done YET?

Counter tops

The counter tops came in and were installed last night as well as the floor in the MBR finally being down. The insulation was blown in the attic (very poorly done job, might I add!). The fireplace needs to be rocked, the shower tiled and the sinks put in. Day by day.

Helping Hands Weekend

We had a bit of help this weekend! The guys came out to help install the HVAC units, the fireplace and finish the back deck. I was so very appreciative!
